200g chicken breast, thinly sliced 1 white tortilla wrap (for women swap for low carb wrap) Salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, etc.), chopped 15g lighter than light mayo or 15g light Philadelphia cheese spread 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat) Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon olive oil Fresh herbs (like coriander or parsley), chopped for garnishMethod
Season the Chicken
In a bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken slices to the bowl and coat them evenly with the seasoning mix.
Cook the Chicken
Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Once hot, add the seasoned chicken slices.
Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice colour.
Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.
Prepare the Wrap
Warm the tortilla wrap in a dry pan or microwave for a few seconds to make it pliable.
Assemble the Wrap
Lay the tortilla wrap flat on a plate.
Spread the lighter than light mayo or light Philadelphia cheese spread over the surface.
Place a layer of the chopped salad in the middle of the wrap.
Add the cooked chicken strips on top of the salad.
If desired, sprinkle some fresh herbs over the chicken for extra flavour.
Wrap It Up
Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll it tightly from one end to the other, ensuring the fillings are enclosed.
Serve
Cut the wrap in half diagonally.
Serve immediately, accompanied by any extra salad if desired.
