200g 5% fat organic mince (beef or turkey)200g wholewheat pasta200g chopped tomatoesA handful of fresh basil leaves, chopped1 tsp dried oreganoSalt and black pepper, to taste1 medium onion, finely chopped2 cloves of garlic, minced1 red bell pepper, diced1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)1 tsp Worcestershire sauceFresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)A squeeze of lemon juiceWater, as neededMethod
Prepare the Ingredients
Chop the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Set aside.
Chop the basil and parsley, and keep them ready for use.
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil.
Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
Drain the pasta and set aside.
Sauté Aromatics
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
